Weathermatic Integration. Version 10.1.2
An Irrigation technician working on a property will be able to take notes, select items in need of repair or replacement in the Weathermatic App. Now with the BOSS integration with Weathermatic, your irrigation work from the Weathermatic app will be copied directly into a BOSS Work Order and ensure all parts are automatically recorded in BOSS.

There are some System Settings that need to be configured prior to integrating with Weathermatic, as well as ‘mapping’ Weathermatic Repair Items to BOSS Service Items.
The Weathermatic integration is enabled through System Settings. The integration requires two ‘Enablement Keys’ (see below) and these can be obtained from Weathermatic by a direct request for the keys.
The Weathermatic Job Catalog to BOSS Service Item Matching module is used to ‘map’ Weathermatic Items to BOSS Service Items. This allows information collected from the field to be placed into a BOSS Work Order. The data shown in the module is a list of all Weathermatic Items from their Mobile App. These Items need to be mapped to BOSS Service Items.
The information collected with the Weathermatic app is transferred into BOSS though a timed process and then matched to a BOSS Property. The data collected in the field is transferred on a timed basis through a BOSS Background Job. This can be configured through the Administration Portal.
As information is transferred into BOSS from the Weathermatic app, BOSS will attempt to match the Weathermatic Property to a BOSS Property. This is done by comparing the Latitude/Longitude of the Weathermatic Property to a BOSS Property. The Weathermatic Site to BOSS Property module displays a list of Weathermatic Properties that have been transferred into BOSS along with the matching BOSS Property.
If the Weathermatic Inspection is for a Property that matches a BOSS Property AND the Weathermatic Item has been ‘mapped’ to a BOSS Service Item, the Background Job will automatically create a BOSS Work Order. If any of the above are missing, the Inspection and Inspection Items will need to be reviewed and any errors will need to be corrected. This review and corrections are performed through the ‘Weathermatic Inspection to BOSS Job Generation’ module.
This module will list Weathermatic Inspections along with information related to the Inspection. If you do not see an Inspection that was done, check Weathermatic to be sure the Inspection has been completed and is ready to be imported into BOSS.
The resulting Work Order uses the information gathered with the Weathermatic app to generate a typical Bid Work Order with pricing based on the BOSS Service Catalog. The Work Order Bill Type can be either “Bid” or “T&M” based on the editable setting found in the “Configuration” module.
