NEW FEATURES:
Mobile: Clock In and Clock Out Option
Mobile: Lunch Break Option
Mobile: Clock In and Clock Out Option*
An enhancement has been made for Mobile for Clocking In and Clocking Out. There are now options to restrict Mobile Clock-In and to show an Alert for Mobile Users that Clocked-Out after a set time.
- Mobile Clock-In Restriction: If enabled, this setting will prevent an employee from Clocking In before the specified time.
- Mobile Clock-Out Alert: If enabled, this setting will display an alert on the Daily Timesheet for any employees that Clocked Out after the specified time. They will be allowed to Clock Out at that time – this option shows an alert in the timesheet as a visual indicator that the employee Clocked Out late.
In the case of Snow Season where users would need to Clock In and Clock Out at any point during the day or night, the System Settings will need to be disabled. This will then allow any user to Clock In without restriction and Clock Out without warnings.
These restrictions will only be applied to Mobile Clock In and Mobile Clock Out. Any other areas where time can be entered (Daily Time Sheet, Job Ticket, Rapid Time Entry) are not restricted regardless of any System, Branch, or Employee Settings.
Visual Example:
The Clock In process for Mobile will now check for any restrictions. When the user clicks the button to Clock In, the system will check to see if there are any restrictions. If so, the restrictions will be validated IF the user is not already Clocked In. If the Clock In is occurring during a restricted time, a message will appear on Mobile as shown below and the user is not allowed to Clock In.
Mobile: Lunch Break Option*
An option has been added to BOSS Mobile to allow the crew to indicate the Job in which they took a Lunch break. A button for ‘Start Lunch Break’ has been added. After clicking the ‘Start Lunch Break’ button, the button text will change to ‘Stop Lunch Break’.
In conjunction with this feature, there is a System Setting to determine if the lunch time deduction should be the actual time spent or should be the existing default from the Daily Timesheet. A System Setting has been added to the Mobile tab for ‘Use Actual Lunch Time from Mobile’.
